With reference to your confidential
telegram No.146 of 9th September, 1935, I have the
honour to invite attention to my open despatch No.639
of 2nd December, 1935, forwarding for the signification of His Majesty's pleasure an Ordinance intituled "An
Ordinance to amend the Defence Contribution Ordinance,
1901."

Objects and Reasons, certain minor amendments have
been made to the Draft Bill which was submitted with
Sir William Peel's despatch Confidential (2) of 19th
July, 1934.
